# Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at DONGHUIYU Handmade Crochet Gifts. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before returning any item.

## 1. Return Period

You have **15 days** from the date you receive your item to request a return.

After 15 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

## 2. Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

– **Unused** and in the same condition that you received it
– In its **original packaging**
– Accompanied by a **receipt or proof of purchase**

## 3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items **cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled**:

– **Digital products** (instant-download PDF crochet patterns, e-tutorials, etc.)
→ Due to the nature of digital files, all sales of digital products are final.

– **Custom or personalized orders** (if applicable)
→ Please contact us before placing a custom order to confirm return eligibility.

## 4. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will:

1. Send you an email confirming that we have received your item
2. Notify you of the **approval or rejection** of your refund

If approved, your refund will be automatically applied to your **original payment method** within a certain number of days (depending on your bank or credit card issuer).

## 5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

1. **Check your bank account** again
2. **Contact your credit card company** – it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
3. **Contact your bank** – there is often processing time before a refund is posted

## 7. Return Shipping Costs

– **Non-defective items:** The cost of return shipping will be **deducted from your refund**.
– **Defective or incorrect items:** Please contact us first. We will cover the return shipping cost and send you a replacement or issue a full refund.

> 💡 For expensive items, we strongly recommend using a **trackable shipping service** or purchasing **shipping insurance**. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.

If you need to exchange an item (e.g., different size or color), please:

– Return the original item following the return process above
– Once the return is accepted, we will ship the exchange item to you (additional shipping charges may apply)
